CROCODILE STITCH BABY BLANKET

I’ve used the crocodile stitch for shawls before, but for this baby blanket, I wanted to create something different. By changing the color in every row, I was able to make a blanket that has a beautiful, colorful texture. I crocheted this with a medium-weight yarn to keep it soft and cozy for a baby.

The Project

I decided to create a matching set, so I made both a blanket and a pillow. Here are the finished dimensions:

Blanket:

  • Width: 75 cm
  • Length: 106 cm

Pillow:

  • Width: 26 cm
  • Length: 26 cm
