This pattern is a very simple yet elegant design. Although it’s easy to knit, its texture gives it a soft and stylish drape that won’t lose its shape over time.

Materials
- Yarn: A worsted-weight yarn with 10% linen content. I used exactly 200 grams of yarn.
- Needles: Size US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles.
The Pattern
This pattern is a two-row repeat. Simply continue repeating these two rows until your scarf reaches your desired length.
Stitch Count: A multiple of 4 + 3
Cast on: Cast on 47 stitches.
Row 1 (Right Side):
- Knit 3.
- *With yarn in front, slip 1 purlwise, bring yarn to the back, knit 3. *
- Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
- You will have 3 stitches remaining at the end of the row. Knit these last 3 stitches.
Row 2 (Wrong Side):
- Knit 1.
- *With yarn in front, slip 1 purlwise, bring yarn to the back, knit 3. *
- Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
- You will have 1 stitch remaining at the end of the row. Knit this last stitch.
Repeat these two rows until your scarf is as long as you want it to be. Bind off all stitches and weave in the ends.
