Eye-Catching Turquoise: A Super Soft, Knitted Mohair Scarf / Cowl Pattern
The Key to Winter Chic: A radiant touch for winter. A wonderfully soft, wavy-patterned shawl knitted with mohair yarn.

Are you ready to add an elegant touch to your winter wardrobe?
I would like to introduce this silky-soft model I knitted, which you can use as both a cowl and a shawl. With its vibrant turquoise color and cool tassel details, it will instantly elevate any outfit.

Model Features and Details
For this asymmetrical triangular shawl, knitted in stockinette and garter stitch, we need 100 grams of mohair or angora yarn. We will knit this yarn with size 4 knitting needles (4 mm). We will finish it by attaching tassels to its three points.

The shawl’s length is 170 cm and its width is 60 cm.

How to Make the Mohair Scarf / Cowl
- The construction of this model is much easier than you might think. It’s a suitable project even for beginners.
- The secret of the model lies in its fast progress and the creation of a striking texture.
- When watching the video, pay attention to the increases and decreases.
- Two increases at the beginning of the right-side row and one decrease at the end (Example video below) …And continue in the exact same manner.
- When you reach the desired length, bind off all stitches at once.
- Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add a small amount of fabric softener.
- Let your knitted piece soak in this water for 2-3 hours.
- Afterward, gently remove it from the water, but never wring it out.
- Allow the excess water to drain in a colander.
- Lay it flat on a large towel. Shape it, block it. Let it dry in this manner.
- Prepare 3 tassels. Sew them onto the three corners of the shawl.
